Meadowvale tennis approached Al Read Electrical to upgrade their existing court lighting to LED. The tennis club based in Blackrock Co. Dublin has 6 all-weather courts with a membership of approx. 500 and were looking for a low maintenance and efficient solution to their dated floodlighting.

Using the existing poles on site Al Read Electrical in collaboration with Philips/Signify provided a design aimed at reaching an average light level of 500 luxusing 8 clear flood lanterns per court. Retrofit installation was completed in 3 days minimising the disruption to the clubs members. Night time adjustments and light checking were carried out prior to commissioning in February 2019. With instant re-strike and low maintenance this LED retrofit was the perfect solution for Meadowvale.
